Cooking Performance Group 36CBLSBNL 36" Gas Lava Briquette Charbroiler with Cabinet Base - 120,000 BTU

  • Item Number: 35136CBLSBNL
  • Product description

Tempt your customers with the intoxicating aroma of grilled burgers, chicken, steak, and more by using this Cooking Performance Group CBL36 36" charbroiler with an open cabinet base! It boasts three powerful 40,000 BTU stainless steel U-shaped burners to heat your included lava briquettes, which in turn evenly distribute the heat toward your food while catching the drippings to create that unmistakably smoky "outdoor barbecue" aroma and flavor. The reversible cast iron top grates give your meats tantalizing grill marks, sporting a thin side that's perfect for searing and a thick side that's great for your more delicate foods like fish.

Thanks to its stainless steel construction and the ability to remove the cast iron grates and stainless steel burners without tools, this charbroiler is both durable and easy to clean! It has a 3/4" rear gas connection and ships ready to connect to a natural gas supply, but includes a liquid propane orifice kit for simple field conversion.

The stainless steel cabinet base has an open storage area, perfect for holding commonly used charbroiler accessories like hot pads, cooking utensils, food pans, and more. It also comes with (4) 6" legs so that you can easily clean the floor underneath. The base holds the grill at the perfect working height without using up valuable counter space. Perfect for applications that need an economical, high-output charbroiler but don't have the space for a countertop unit, this charbroiler and base combo unit provides the cooking power you need in a standalone design.

Some of our FAQs

Gas equipment is factory-set to use either natural gas or liquid propane. Field-convertible equipment allows your unit to accept the other gas type (so for example a natural gas unit could be converted to use liquid propane), but this conversion must happen before it is used.

For safety reasons, a qualified service professional should perform the conversion. Your equipment’s warranty may require that such conversions be done by a professional, and failure to do so may void warranty coverage.

We recommend that you communicate with your installer to also arrange for the gas type conversion at the time of installation.
